Clients who went the distance
We've personally managed the accounts of companies that went on to IPO, raise major funding rounds, and get acquired. Hands on the work, not just the strategy deck.
Woman-founded
Kim and Matt have spent nearly three decades in performance marketing, managing accounts for companies that went on to IPO, raise major rounds, and get acquired. Through all of it, one belief has held: the best work is built on trust and mutual respect.
Our story
Between us, we've spent our careers in marketing. We've run paid acquisition, built conversion programs, led teams, and worked both inside and alongside agencies. We've seen how this industry works from every seat.
And we kept noticing the same thing. The clients who stayed, who grew, who sent referrals weren't won by the fanciest deck or the newest framework. They were won by trust. By a partner who respected them, told them the truth, and treated their business like it was their own.
One client once told us he'd never gotten a call from his agency just to see how things were going. Not a sales call. Not a renewal nudge. Just a call. That stuck with us.
We built daylyte around that. Work that earns trust quietly, over and over, in the things that actually matter to the people we serve.
The name comes from a song, Daylight by Matt & Kim. Bright, optimistic, in motion, a little scrappy. That's the energy we bring to the work.
What makes us different
In this industry, a unicorn is someone who does the strategic thinking, executes the work, and is the same person on your calls. Nothing gets lost between the strategist and the account manager, because they're the same person.
That's the standard Kim and Matt built their careers around, and it's the only standard daylyte hires to.
As we grow, we grow carefully. Every person who joins this team carries a client load small enough to go deep, because that's the only way to do this work well. Our clients don't get a coordinator passing messages to someone they've never met. They get a senior practitioner who knows their business, owns the strategy, and is accountable for the results.
Unicorns are hard to find. We take the time to find them.
Track record
Senior roles at high-growth companies and agencies mean we've been in the rooms where real outcomes get decided, and we've delivered in them.
We've personally managed the accounts of companies that went on to IPO, raise major funding rounds, and get acquired. Hands on the work, not just the strategy deck.
Team members we’ve hired and managed directly have gone on to become VPs, C-suite leaders, and agency owners. We invest in our people the same way we invest in our clients.
The team
Founder & CEO
Kim brings 15 years of performance marketing experience, including senior leadership at KlientBoost, one of the most recognized PPC agencies in the industry. There she personally managed paid media for B2B and lead gen brands including AdEspresso, AskNicely, Juniper Networks, Autopilot, and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. As President, she oversaw a portfolio of 250+ client accounts spanning B2B, ecommerce, and home services.
She built daylyte on a simple conviction: senior talent should stay close to the work, and clients deserve a partner who treats their business like it's their own. She's as comfortable in the data as she is in the boardroom.
Outside of work, you'll usually find Kim at the rock climbing gym with her three kids and her husband, Chris. She's there watching their teams compete so often that she's decided to take up the hobby herself. When she's not, she's running the trails or working through a good Stephen King book (she's three years into the kick).
Founder / Chief Growth Officer
Matt has spent his career building paid social programs for brands with real growth ambitions. He's managed accounts for Yoga International, Nurture Life, Lytx, Bloomberg, and Segment, developing a reputation for campaigns that perform at scale without losing the strategy behind them. He holds an MBA and brings particular depth in Meta, building and testing audience strategies that consistently outperform platform benchmarks.
At daylyte, he leads growth strategy and paid social, bringing the same rigor to a focused client roster that he applied managing large multi-brand portfolios.
Outside of work, Matt is a devoted Pokémon card collector and a hands-on dad, usually found at the pool or the park with his wife and their two kids (with a third on the way). He's also the source of an alarming number of dad jokes. Consider yourself warned.
What we value
We keep our roster focused. Not to be exclusive, but because it's the only way to give every client senior people who are genuinely invested. We'd rather do exceptional work for a few companies we believe in than spread ourselves thin across many.
And yes, we're parents who believe you can do the best work of your career and still be there for the people you love. That balance isn't a compromise. It's part of what keeps our judgment clear and our work sharp.
This one is personal for our family. Every year, 1% of our profits go to CHOC, the Children's Hospital of Orange County. We've spent nights in those rooms, and we know what those doctors and nurses do. Investing in people, our team, our clients, and our community, is just how we operate.
30-minute call. We'll learn about your business. You'll learn about us. No pitch deck. No pressure.
