Why we give 1% of our profits to CHOC
Every year, daylyte gives 1% of its profits to CHOC, the Children's Hospital of Orange County. Here is the story behind it.
For our family, this one is personal. As parents, we have spent nights in those rooms at CHOC, watching the doctors, nurses, and staff do extraordinary things for kids who need them. You remember what that care feels like, and what it means to the families living through it.
CHOC looks after children across Orange County and well beyond it. The people who work there show up for families on the hardest days of their lives and make those days a little easier. We want to help keep that going.
Built into how we operate
We wanted giving to be part of how daylyte runs, something steady we do every year for as long as we are doing this work. So we built it into the model. One percent of our profits goes to CHOC, and as daylyte grows, that giving grows with it.
On its own it is a small thing. Done every year, alongside other people who care, it adds up to something real.
Why it matters to us
We do this work so we can keep doing that. When you partner with daylyte, a small part of what we build together goes toward keeping CHOC funded, for the cures still ahead and the families who count on them every day.
